The organization’s mission is to assist in the implementation of the Chinese government’s new energy security strategy and to “accelerate carbon neutrality and promote smart development and the clean and low-carbon transformation of global energy systems,” and it is committed to promoting multilateral cooperation in the field of global green energy through various means including policy coordination, partnerships, and cooperative projects.
