Secretary
The Green and Smart Energy Organization (GSEO) is seeking a secretary to assist with office administration. They will be responsible for coordinating the administrative tasks of the GSEO office and ensuring that the leadership is able to make all meetings and events. The main duties will include organizing necessary meetings, planning events, developing a long-term schedule, and managing office communications. They also have to regularly update certain reports.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage long-term schedule for office personnel;
Manage office communications;
Make travel arrangements on behalf of office personnel;
Note-taking and recording minutes of office meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above, Master's degree preferred;
2 years or more of experience as an Administrative Secretary would be advantageous;
Working level proficiency in written and oral English;
Must possess excellent public relation skills and ability to work effectively and professionally with the public and other employees;
Must possess the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; maintain a high level of confidentiality;
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Project Assistant
The Green and Smart Energy Organization (GSEO) is seeking a Project Assistant to assist in managing GSEO activities. The successful candidates will assist in the implementation of GSEO projects. Duties will include editing reports and proposals for both ongoing and new international cooperation projects in the green and renewable energy field, and supporting the administration and organization of GSEO activities such as international cooperation projects, international conferences, and managing regular communications with project partners.
Responsibilities:
Provide needed support to GSEO team members in drafting and editing project reports and proposals;
Contact local governments, research institutions and enterprises for project coordination;
Organize international events involving a variety of partner organizations.
Qualifications:
Graduate degree or above in Global Development, International Relations, Economics, Management, Innovation Management, or other related fields;
2 years of relevant experience;
Excellent English level: excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. (Native English Speaker is preferred; second language besides English is preferred. Mandarin is not required but will be considered as a plus);
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite of applications;
Strong analytical and research skills;
Multitasking and flexibility are needed to navigate the various requirements of this job;
Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities.

Project Officer
The Green and Smart Energy Organization (GSEO) is seeking a Project Officer to assist in managing and coordinating projects in the renewable energy field. The successful candidate will administer and organize all types of projects, from simple activities to projects involving multiple international partners, and manage communications with GSEO partners, including local governments, research institutions, and enterprises, both domestically and internationally. Duties will include writing periodic reports on ongoing projects, drafting proposals for new projects in the renewable energy field involving partners located both in China and abroad, organizing conferences and webinars, as well as handling communications with project partners.

Economist/Policy Researcher
The Green and Smart Energy Organization is seeking an Economist/Policy Researcher to provide support for its activities in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will analyze a wide range of policies that have the potential to influence the national and global transition to a low-carbon energy system, such as local government development policies and planning documents for technology promotion zones. The duties will include original and secondary research as well as written and oral communication of research findings. The role will have a strong focus on leading projects that will help to drive the team’s research agenda and guide junior team members in achieving the organization’s strategic objectives.
The ideal Economist/Policy Researcher will have a strong grasp of economic principles and renewable energy policies both in China and globally, and solid experience undertaking technical economic and financial analysis (including modelling capabilities). They will have the people management skills to balance ad hoc requests with longer-term background research, and strong project management skills to ensure delivery of important priorities.
Responsibilities:

Organize international events involving a variety of partner organizations;
Provide the team with a vision of the project objectives;
Edit the relative regulations, formalities and progress documents.
