GSEO-Mongolia Clean Energy Cooperation Meeting

Overview

On May 18th 2022, the “GSEO-Mongolia Clean Energy Cooperation Meeting” was successfully held online. The meeting, organized by the GSEO, was attended by Mrs. Ts. Uranchimeg, Head of the Innovation and Clean Technology Department of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia, and Prof. Gombobaatar Sundev, Professor of the National University of Mongolia and renowned expert on green energy. The participants exchanged insights on enhancing international cooperation in Mongolia's clean energy sector to support government efforts to promote the development of the country's abundant renewable energy sources and the implementation of energy conservation and efficiency practices. 

During the meeting, the GSEO and the National University of Mongolia signed a strategic cooperation agreement, with the goal of establishing a long-term cooperation mechanism in the field of clean energy, as well as promoting green projects in Mongolia and technological cooperation with Chinese and other international players.
