Sino-American Forum on Cooperation in Hydrogen Industry
Overview
The "Sino-American Forum on Cooperation in the Hydrogen Industry," jointly organized by AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles and the GSEO, was held online on July 20th China Standard Time (July 19th Pacific Time) with the strong support of relevant Chinese and American public and private bodies and with the goal of enhancing dialogue and collaboration between China's key hydrogen energy development regions and their Californian counterparts.
The forum was attended by approximately 100 guests representing leading companies, organizations, government agencies, and port authorities active in research and development, policy-making, financing, and consultation related to cutting-edge hydrogen energy applications from California and various regions of China. Participants included senior representatives of the State Council Development Research Center of China, California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), Port of Los Angeles, Shenzhen Energy Group, Southern California Gas Company, China Three Gorges Corporation, Vopak, State Power Investment Group (SPIC) Hydrogen Energy Technology Development, Air Products, etc.
The event sessions had a special focus on the role that ports can play in promoting the establishment of hydrogen hubs as well as on the broad prospects for international cooperation in hydrogen ports.
