Sino-Uzbek Symposium on Climate Change Adaptation and Resiliency in Cultural Heritage Preservation
Overview
The international symposium entitled "Sino-Uzbek Symposium on Climate Change Adaptation and Resiliency in Cultural Heritage Preservation" was held online on Nov. 24-25. More than 20 high-profile experts from China and Uzbekistan delivered keynote speeches and nearly 300 people attended. It was one of the most influential online events between the two countries held since the beginning of the pandemic. Through the in-depth participants' interaction, this symposium opened up more practical channels for cooperation between the two countries in the field of cultural heritage preservation and climate change adaptation and resiliency and paved the way to further joint actions including capacity-building, training, academic exchanges, and site visits.
